European Parliament adopts Connected Continent proposal
On the 3rd of April, the European Parliament adopted the Connected Continent proposal. The aim of the proposal is to create a truly single telecoms market to foster growth and create jobs. The Connected Continent proposal contains measures to end roaming charges, expand consumer rights and make it easier to create better telecoms. It also contains important provisions on the open internet.

Tomas Granryd speaker at World Radio Day
Tomas Granryd, channel manager at P3 – Swedish Radio, participated in the celebration of World Radio Day on the 13th of February, by contributing with his view on future possibilities in reaching a younger radio audience. The event was part of the meeting series ”EBU Media Lunchtime Talks”.
Discussions focused on how free-to-air broadcast reception and broadband in hybrid devices can be combined to find new ways of interacting with audiences and further personalising content.
